They Know You Far Away

I recently spoke with a person (hereinafter referred to as Person X) from a national healthcare chain in a far-away state who knows about Stambush, and I mean really knows. Person X knows that we have a great reputation, have been around a long time, and do not hire inexperienced new graduates. Additionally, Person X told me we are in the perfect position to have a traveling department. Granted, I contacted Person X to pick his/her brain about traveling, but his/her feedback was more than I had hoped.

In case nobody has noticed, I am an optimist.
This article is not meant to push anyone into traveling who does not want to, but I must pass this information along: you all are great. People "in the know" know about you and your reputation, personalities, professionalism, diligence, and your awesomeness in general.

Yes, this information is a good indication we will get traveling customers, but to me the bigger picture is that we have something very special.  We are not just a staffing agency with a good reputation; we are a company with a good reputation among smart, knowledgeable, in-the-know people.

That my friends is no small thing.

Stambush Sponsoring TPTA Event to Advance PT Profession

The Southeastern District of the Texas Physical Therapy Association will be holding a wine and cheese tasting fundraiser to benefit the TPTA PAC on October 18th at War'Hous Visual Studios. Since Stambush is the event sponsor, I will have a few minutes to speak during the event.  It seems very much the case that Stambush is the only agency that sponsors anything for PTs anymore. I guess the other agencies are either too poor or too ungrateful. In my opinion, it is the latter. If you have a problem with that, I don’t blame you. So do I.

Here is more information – I will also be sending all you PTAs and PTs a flyer. By the way, I intend to ask some big shots what their intentions are with the role of the PTA.

What: Southeastern District (SED) Governmental Affairs Committee (GAC) Wine & Cheese Tasting Event
When: Thursday, October 18th, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Where: War'Hous Visual Studios, 4715 Main Street, Houston, TX 77002
Why: To raise funds for the TPTA PAC, to advance the physical therapy profession
