Dear Stambush Staffing Family,
Effective December 31 2023, Fred Salazar is the 100% owner of Stambush Staffing. After 30 years of being "The Man" at Stambush Staffing, Fred Salazar has finally become the sole owner of Stambush Staffing. Fred and I have been talking about this for a couple years now, but it has always been my idea. Fred never once even hinted that he wanted to be the owner. I, on the other hand, have known for sometime now that the company really belongs to Fred. Fred has more than earned it with his skill set, personality, integrity, and incredible work ethic. I could go on and on about how great I think Fred Salazar is, but after a certain amount of praise, it becomes boring. So, at the risk of being boring, just let me say one more time that I am more than happy to see Fred Salazar be the new owner of Stambush.
Foreseeable questions:
Will the name stay the same? Yes, Stambush Staffing will keep its name even though Susan Stambush and I are no longer in the company. As part of our Agreement, Fred may use the name Stambush as long as he is the owner or the owner in control of the company. That's how highly we think of Fred, and that's how much we trust him to take care of our name.
Can Fred still call on Scott and Susan for advice? Of course. We would be honored to help Fred. I would even become his employee if he really needed me, and if I had the time.
Am I sad? I'm not sad. I'm happy for Fred because he is a fantastic person, and I can't think of a better person to take over Stambush Staffing. However, Susan and I do feel a bit nostalgic since we started Stambush in our one bedroom apartment, and not only supported our family, but also helped a lot of people make a lot of money as well as helped a lot of customers with the best staffing agency Houston has ever seen (IMO).
My email, scott@stambush.com as well as my cell phone will remain the same for the foreseeable future, and you all are welcome to contact me if you wish. I know there are still unethical things that happen in the staffing world, and you're all free to use me as a sounding board. Besides, I'm still a lawyer. Thank you all for your love, support, criticism, intelligence, work ethic, integrity, and all around greatness. This includes both employees as well as customers. It has been our great honor to serve you all since we first started in 1989.
